The Strathearn Hotel is a beautiful Victorian building loctaed in a subarban setting with a comfortable, friendly atmosphere. Standing within its own landscaped gardens on the picturesque East coast of Fife, it maintains its original character with beautifully appointed public rooms and impressive views over the Firth of Forth. Built in the late Victorian period (1896) as a family home of the Wishart family, the building has been extended to include extra bedrooms and function suites. We have 18 well-appointed en-suite bedrooms all with television, tea and coffee making facilities and direct dial telephone. Kirkcaldy itself is the main shopping centre of the area, and is popular for its arts and entertainment at the Adam Smith Theatre and the Art Gallery and Museum.
