Upper Ansdore Farmhouse dates from the XIVth century with later additions. The house once belonged to Sir William Cockaine; a former Lord Mayor of London in 1619; and is mentioned in Hasted's history of Kent.

Situated in a Sylvan setting with far reaching views across the valley; in a quiet area away from all the traffic. It overlooks a Kent trust nature reserve.
