Pendant plus de 2000 ans, c'est là que l'histoire s'est écrite. Des puissants châteaux dans l'Angleterre médiévale, aux moulins à eau, qui ont annoncé le début de la Révolution industrielle, une période recrée de manière vivante dans certains des musées les plus passionnants du pays.
