Alt Na Craig Guest House is in a peaceful secluded area just 15 minutes walk from the town centre. There are a selection of rooms, from comfortable doubles, to large family rooms for two adults and three children. Most Guest rooms have spectacular views over Oban Bay to the Islands of Kerrera, Mull and beyond, and in the foreground are the beautiful quiet Alt Na Craig gardens and grounds.Oban and Lorn area stretches the width of mainland Argyll. It runs from the west coast yacht havens of Craobh Haven and Kilmelford in the south to Castle Stalker in the north and east to Dalmally, Glen Lochy and Tyndrum. It offers great walking and climbing in the famous peaks and Munros of the mountains around Loch Etive and in Glen Etive. It embraces most of Loch Awe, except for the very southernmost section below Eredine, which falls into Lochgilphead and Mid Argyll. Loch Awe itself is surrounded by some of the most spectacular sceneries in western Scotland. It includes the inshore islands of Kerrera in Oban Bay, Lismore in Loch Linnhe and the collection of islands and almost-islands to the south of Oban around Easdale – Luing, Shuna, Seil and Easdale Island itself. The grounds include a watergarden, a small river with a waterfall, prizewinning rhododendrons, and Scots fir trees shaped by the winter winds. Guests may sit and relax on the seats around the garden and breakfast may be taken outside in good weather. Scenic paths into the hills and glens south of Oban begin from the rear of the garden.Check In from 16:00, Check Out 10:00. Smoking and Pets not permitted.
